non~native for offence against native in Protectorate: Section 50 of the
Protectorate Courts Jurisdiction Ordinance, 1932 is permissive and merely gives a general power to the Governor to transfer proceedings to any court of the Colony; so that its terms cannot be read as being a condition
precedent to the assumption of jurisdiction by the Supreme Court
to try a non-native for an offence against a native in the Protectorate.
